Beginning with a meditation to ground and connect we then hold poses a little longer, often 3-5 minutes, using props such as a folded blanket, blocks or a bolster, which offer support to the body.
During these holds the body can then soften, releasing deeper held tension.
Each pose becomes a mini meditation, turning within, connecting the mind with the breath.
This practice allows you to find balance, the Yin to the Yang of a regular yoga or exercise class. This class is also suitable should you not have a yoga practice, bringing balance to a busy life and taking a little time for your ‘self’.
